Microsoft certified 64-bit HostRAID driver v1.5.11975 for the Serial ATA II RAID 1420SA and 1430SA using BIOS Build 2322. This self-extracting archive includes the 64-bit driver files for Windows Server 2003 x64, Windows XP x64 and Windows Vista x64 as well as Release Notes. Caution: For the 1420SA it is very important to follow these update instructions: If doing an upgrade from BIOS 201x to BIOS 2322 and from driver 1.1.xxxx to 1.5.1197x the update must be performed driver first, then the BIOS and last the Adaptec Storage Manager utility. If doing an upgrade from BIOS 110x to BIOS 2322 and from driver 9.0.xxxx to 1.5.1197x a backup of all data on RAID arrays, JBODs or simple volumes must be performed first. Then perform the updates, reconfigure the container and restore the data from the backup. Installation Instruction: Installation instructions can be found in the User's Guide available on the CD that was included with the product or as a download from the Documentation section. Notes: This file is self extracting and will unzip to the directory \adaptec\hostraid. In order to create a driver disk, please extract the files to a floppy by typing a:\ into the "unzip to folder" box within Winzip.
