AAR81xx SATA II HostRAID 32-bit driver v1.5-0 b11975 and 64-bit driver v1.5-0 b11976 for the SATA II RAID 1420SA and 1430SA. This package contains the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, out of box, SP2, and SP3 driver images needed for installation and the RPM files. Prebuilt modules for the following kernels are embedded: 2.6.5-7.97-bigsmp, 2.6.5-7.97-default, 2.6.5-7.97-smp 2.6.5-7.191-bigsmp, 2.6.5-7.191-default, 2.6.5-7.191-smp 2.6.5-7.244-bigsmp, 2.6.5-7.244-default, 2.6.5-7.244smp Caution: For the 1420SA it is very important to follow these update instructions: If doing an upgrade from BIOS 201x to BIOS 2322 and from driver 1.1.xxxx to 1.5.1197x the update must be performed driver first, then the BIOS and last the Adaptec Storage Manager utility. If doing an upgrade from BIOS 110x to BIOS 2322 and from driver 9.0.xxxx to 1.5.1197x a backup of all data on RAID arrays, JBODs or simple volumes must be performed first. Then perform the updates, reconfigure the container and restore the data from the backup.
